Good Practices 2

Context of practice
Type of context: mixed teaching (essentially face-to-face, but with the development of some activities in Studium).
Type of teaching: [Degree] Course: [First].

Problem and objectives
In class, a short doughnut activity will be proposed to assess the students’ progress on the topic. The main problem is that an external platform will be used, which can store the data of the students who, in addition, come to class with their personal computers.

Tools and resources
The external tool of https://es.educaplay.com/ (which generates roscos with the help of artificial intelligence, just by providing a title) would be used.

Description of practice
In order for students not to compromise their data and emails, I would use a website that provides temporary emails such as https://temp-mail.org/es or https://www.guerrillamail.com/.

Expected results
At the subject level, the aim is to demonstrate that students have acquired this knowledge. In relation to good practice and cybersecurity, to ensure that students’ digital identities are not compromised and that their data is not disseminated.

Strengths or advantages
The main advantage is to prevent students from sharing their data and information on an open website, which could be breached and thus expose students’ personal information.

Risks or weaknesses
It will take a little more time to complete the activity in class with the preliminary step of generating a fake email.

Need for support
I think the strategy is simple and I can do it on my own. In fact, I have already tried it myself.
