Objective:
To acquire a good practice of not sharing data about specific topic with people that should not know it and protecting materials.
Brief Description:
Due to the increasing use of online meetings and video calls, there is a need to protect such meetings. The problem is when people use insecure networks, but also when the meeting can be accessed by everyone, not just selected ones. Participants need to be informed about security steps when starting a video call (pin, waiting room, special link, special permissions…).
More Information:
- Create a meeting ID and meeting password. Lock the meeting if you don’t use it.
- Never share video conferencing links public. Set-up your waiting room.
- Allow screen sharing only if required.
