As part of the SPADATAS project, 11 talented students and 4 dedicated teachers from First Primary School Čakovec recently participated in a short-term student mobility program at I Spoleczna Szkola Podstawowa im. Unii Europejskiej, located in the historic city of Zamosc, Poland. This vibrant exchange was designed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and was filled with a wide array of engaging educational activities meticulously prepared by both the Polish hosts and the visiting team from Čakovec.
During their stay, students from Čakovec took center stage by leading a thought-provoking lecture and an interactive roundtable discussion on the multifaceted impact of social media in today’s society. Their ability to navigate complex topics and engage their peers in meaningful dialogue was a testament to their academic excellence and global awareness.
Moreover, the students showcased their creativity and educational acumen by designing and implementing educational games, which were aimed at fostering critical thinking and collaborative learning among their peers. These games not only highlighted their pedagogical skills but also served as a tool to connect and learn from their Polish counterparts.
This immersive experience provided the students with an opportunity to broaden their perspectives, gain valuable insights into different cultural and educational approaches, and build lasting relationships with their peers in Poland. The exchange was a clear demonstration of the power of international collaboration in shaping well-rounded, globally-minded individuals prepared to thrive in an interconnected world.
