As part of our ongoing efforts in the SPADATAS project, we had the opportunity to share our findings with the Lions Club Egedal, a division of the global Lions Club organization. Known for its dedication to global youth exchange, disaster response, and the fight against poverty and hunger, Lions Club also supports local, national, and international needs.
The workshop delved into diverse and impactful themes, from the history of computers, the internet, and the World Wide Web, to social media, mobile phones, artificial intelligence, and essential practices in data protection and GDPR compliance. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, non-governmental organizations and charities must stay informed about personal data protection, including practical methods like image blurring, responsible management of multimedia content, and ethical engagement with AI technologies.
