Fifth-grade students from I. Primary School Čakovec recently engaged in an interactive learning activity focused on digital safety, creating presentations on the topic “Keys to a Safe Internet.” Using informational brochures and online resources, they explored fundamental concepts related to responsible online behavior and digital security.
Working in pairs and small groups, the students delved into essential topics such as protecting personal data, creating strong passwords, recognizing online scams, practicing good digital etiquette, and safely using social media. Their presentations incorporated visuals, key messages, and practical advice to effectively convey the importance of responsible internet use.
This initiative provided students with an opportunity to enhance their digital literacy skills in an engaging and collaborative environment. By researching and presenting on internet safety, they not only deepened their understanding of potential online risks but also developed the ability to share valuable insights with their peers. Through hands-on learning and teamwork, the students gained a greater awareness of the significance of safe and responsible online interactions, fostering essential skills for navigating the digital world with confidence.
