Eighth-grade students from First Primary School Čakovec recently took part in an engaging and educational pub quiz focused on internet safety. The quiz was designed to provide students with a fun and interactive way to expand their knowledge of cybersecurity and responsible online behavior.
The quiz consisted of four categories, each containing six questions. While some questions offered multiple-choice answers, others required students to formulate their own responses. The goal was not only to compete but also to develop critical thinking skills related to online security, personal data protection, and recognizing potential cyber threats.
Throughout the activity, students actively participated in discussions, debated possible answers, and collaborated with their peers to find the best solutions. The interactive nature of the quiz fostered engagement, encouraging students to reflect on real-world cybersecurity challenges and how they can apply their knowledge in everyday digital interactions.
Beyond testing their knowledge, the quiz served as a valuable learning experience, reinforcing key principles of digital safety and responsible internet use. By the end of the session, all participants had enhanced their digital skills and gained a greater awareness of the importance of online security.
This initiative highlights the significance of integrating cybersecurity education into school activities, equipping students with essential knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
