Fifth-grade students from I. Elementary School Čakovec participated in an interactive workshop on safe and responsible cloud usage. The session focused on Microsoft OneDrive, where students explored key security settings to protect their documents and learned best practices for secure file sharing.
During the workshop, students were introduced to essential privacy and security features, including:
🔹 Password Protection – Understanding why strong, unique passwords are important and how to manage them securely.
🔹 Access Restrictions – Learning how to control who can view or edit shared files to prevent unauthorized access.
🔹 Time-Limited Sharing – Setting expiration dates for shared documents to maintain security over time.
Through hands-on activities, students practiced adjusting privacy settings, ensuring that their digital content remains safe while collaborating with classmates. They also discussed real-life scenarios where secure sharing is crucial, reinforcing their understanding of data protection and responsible digital behavior.
By integrating these digital literacy skills, students are becoming more confident in navigating online environments safely, preparing them for future academic and personal use of cloud technologies.
